Hydraulic Positive Locking Clamps speed die changeovers and part load/unload tasks for application requiring up to 14,200 lbs. of clamping force. The unique design offers a consistency of exerting force not possible with other manual clamping methods. They accommodate die plate or workpiece thicknesses from 1" to 2.50" - without the added cost and setup time associated with riser plates. Each of these compact Hydra-Dyne® clamps has one bolt located close to clamped surface for maximum mechanical advantage. The bolt anchors to a bolster plate T-slot for quick positioning, then a knurled nut hand-tightens the clamp over the edge of a part or plate. The unit mechanically locks under pressure to provide safety even if hydraulic pressure fails, and it requires hydraulic pressure to unclamp. Each unit features an indicator pin for actuation verification. The Positive Locking Clamps are similarly easy to unclamp and remove from the die plate or workpiece. |
